Annika is in Spain! Again. Maria – “hostmom” – invited her to come back to Madrid after graduation. And Annika invited her friend, Sarah, to join her. Yesterday and today, they have been on the Balearic Island of Mallorca.
This is where I found them: Carrer de Joan Riutort, 49, 07190 Esporles, Illes Balears, Spain.

I think she is glad to be back in Spain, but Sarah may not be as easy to travel with as Annika may have wished.
I have a confession: traveling almost always is wonderful in retrospect and sometimes wonderful in the moment. When I look back on a trip, my retrospective may take place a day later, a week, a month or a year later. For me, it takes a little time to look back and consider what was good or enlightening or fun. But if I am stretching myself to learn more, trying new things, meeting new people, or juggling new information and challenges, I probably am not having the same sort of “fun” as I would if I were in a place I know really well.
