Friday, 19 August, 2022 – Well, I had the really hard day at work that I expected to have. I cannot find Elias on the map when he is on the farm, so I have no idea if he made it to the beach. What I do know is that days like I had today at work remind me of how much my family and close friends are my refuge. I know that is how it is supposed to be but I am not sure I always understood that, or felt it. I was grateful to feel it today, though.
He posted two pictures, which I think may be outside the guest house, at the farm, his last day for this part of his travels. He may return but if he does return, he’ll have more months of travel, experiences, and perspective that he takes with him.
