Sunday, 31 July, 2022 – I found a big map of Europe at the bookstore yesterday, which I am going to hang up and mark everywhere he has been. I have not figured out how to mark the dates on it yet. I like to think he would enjoy looking back at it in a few years.
E travelled from Copenhagen to Hamburg, Germany today. I think. I have to admit the 7-hour time difference is kind of messing me up. As I write this, it is already August 1, where he is. But he spent the day – 31 July – getting to Hamburg by train. A 6-7 hour train ride.
Before he went to bed, he texted:

Not exactly. Very dark, rainy, dirty compared to Copenhagen. Will be interesting to explore
