Friday, 4 November, 2022 – Okay, I am going to try to keep this straight: Elias is waking up now, on Saturday, 5 November. But I am posting pictures from his day on Friday, 4 November. Right? Argh! I am sorry. I know it sounds silly but between no sleep, constantly checking my phone for where he is, and writing after he’s texted us, I am a little confused. I am confident I will get the hang of this … just as he is leaving Thailand.
Elias booked his hostel in Bangkok two weeks ago. I am so glad it seems like a good place. “Relieved” is probably a better word. “Grateful” is even better. This is the hostel website, Issara Hostel.
He texted David: It’s a nice hostel with ac and only 3 other people [in the room]. 9 dollars a night in the heart of old town.

Elias and David chatted today, at some length. And Elias sent a picture of more delicious food. Honestly, though, I am worn out from trying to write this goddamn presentation so I will have to post more tomorrow. I must, I must finish tomorrow because I need to practice. And I would much rather spend time writing about Elias and looking up where he has been.
