Tuesday, 20 September, 2022 – I do have news from Elias. And I have a presentation in hand, to deliver tomorrow. But it is late so I am not going to write as much as I would like to.
The truth is, I feel sad. Mixed in with feeling proud of him and confident he is really, truly, okay, I feel sad that Elias said goodbye to Ian and Kelsey today and traveled to Prague alone. They may have been getting on each other’s nerves sometimes or tiring of sharing close quarters for days on end or whatever it was, the fact is Kelsey and Ian are Elias’s chosen family, the way really close friends are.
Oh goodness. It is 3am and I am exhausted and weepy. I am going to link to where I think Elias is staying in Prague. I like seeing him there, in my mind’s eye, when I look at the street-level pictures from Google. It is called Hostel Mandarinka. (I know, the pictures are sort of odd but if you scroll down the page, there is more information about the hostel.) It is a very short walk to the train station, according to Elias. It is new, clean, and affordable. Here’s a map image of where he is.
