Sunday, 23 October, 2022 – Elias is in Nice today, and tomorrow, I think. Before I felt asleep earlier today, I texted to ask how he is. He said, “I’m good, nice is good so far and I booked my trains to Lyon and Paris.”
Google maps says he’s here, 10 Avenue Thiers, Nice. But I do not see any hostels nearby; I only find 2-star hotels, which may be affordable for Elias.

I did not write yesterday and I am too exhausted to try to write about yesterday. David and I traveled overnight and I am overwhelmed with fatigue. The kind of fatigue in which your eyelids start twitching and it feels as though you are carrying around a 25-pound backpack, for all the effort it takes to sit down or stand up.
I will try to write about Day 89, when I get a chance to talk to Elias. It is officially three months that he’s been traveling. I know he has one more month of exploring and traveling ahead, but his coming home is starting to feel real now.
