Sunday, 25 September, 2022 – Elias has his ticket home! He has the rest of his trip figured out and he will be flying home on November 25th from Bangkok. I told him already how impressive his organization and planning skills are. Since transportation and lodging require a reservation – you can’t just walk into a hostel or train station and get in/on – he has had to plan ahead, weigh cost, figure out timing, and make sure he has enough time to get food, use the loo, and still make his transfers. All of that is to say, as much fun as the trip has been, I think there has been a fair amount of stress and worry and being practical in ways he never has to be at home.
